Olympic Medal winning Eventer William Fox-Pitt has been awarded the use of a Suzuki KingQuad 400 ATV after a successful finish at the Houghton International Horse Trials.
Suzuki GB supported the horse trials for the eighth consecutive year, by providing a 12-month loan of the ATV to the owner of the highest placed horse in the CCI** with a British based owner. Winners TLCs Syndicate, kindly gave use of the KingQuad to Fox-Pitt who was rider of the horse Deli Star Hero, which placed second overall in the event. William has found the ATV to be an invaluable part of his eventing equipment since receiving the Suzuki.
William has been using the ATV for four months and comments “I was thrilled to win the ATV, and it has been incredibly useful around the yard as well as on my travels. It fits easily into the horse lorry and gets taken everywhere with the team, and is especially useful for getting around the big competition grounds. It is extremely reliable and efficient, and will be much missed at the end of the 12 months.”
Suzuki GB’s ATV Sales and Marketing Manager, Gareth Lumsdaine, adds “We are very pleased to hear that William Fox-Pitt is getting on so well with the KingQuad 400. The equestrian industry plays a big part in the ATV industry, so we felt extremely privileged to be able to support the Houghton Horse Trials again this year, and it was great to see William and his team doing so well in the CCI**. We’re looking forward to catching-up and getting William’s thoughts at the end of the loan period.”
